November is here, and if your calendar is already starting to fill up, you’re definitely not alone! Between work, family commitments, social plans and everything else that comes with this time of year, finding time to exercise can start to feel like another thing on your never-ending to-do list.

But here’s the thing: you don’t need hours in the gym to build strength, maintain muscle and feel good in your body. That’s exactly why I’ve created Busy & Built: your FREE November 2026 Workout Calendar. 💪

This month’s 30-day home workout plan is designed to help you stay strong, consistent and motivated, even when life gets busy. Most workouts are just 30–35 minutes, and every training session is planned for you.

No overthinking. No complicated schedules. Just open your calendar, press play and get moving!

What Is the Busy & Built Workout Calendar?

Busy & Built is my free November workout calendar, bringing together 30 days of strength training, metabolic conditioning, low impact workouts and active recovery to help you finish the year feeling strong.

Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, trying to maintain muscle after 40 or simply looking for a realistic way to stay active, this calendar takes the guesswork out of planning your workouts. Everything is organised for you!

Here’s what’s included:

  • 30 days of planned workouts and recovery: a balanced mix of strength, cardio, conditioning and active recovery.
  • Mostly 30–35 minute sessions: effective workouts that fit into a busy schedule.
  • Follow-along YouTube workouts: simply click the video links and train with me at home.
  • Printable and fillable PDF calendar: tick off your workouts and track your progress throughout the month.
  • Matching YouTube playlist: find your workouts in calendar order without searching for them.

The goal isn’t to squeeze in as much exercise as possible. It’s to help you train with purpose, build strength and maintain consistency without feeling completely exhausted.

Consistency over intensity. Always.

Why 30–35 Minute Workouts Are Perfect for Busy Women

When I recently asked my YouTube community how long you preferred your workouts to be, the results were pretty clear! 55% of 725 voters chose 30–35 minutes. And I completely understand why.

For many of us, especially as we move through our 40s and beyond, finding the balance between challenging our bodies and managing our energy can make all the difference. Here’s why shorter, focused strength workouts can be so effective.

1. You Can Still Build Muscle and Strength. Don’t underestimate what you can achieve in 30 minutes! When your workout includes challenging resistance exercises, purposeful movement and the right amount of effort, you can get a fantastic strength session done without spending hours exercising.

Strength training is particularly valuable as we get older, helping us maintain muscle mass, support bone health and stay strong for everyday life. And if you’re navigating perimenopause, maintaining your strength and muscle becomes even more important.

2. They’re Easier to Fit Into Real Life. One of the biggest challenges with exercise isn’t knowing what to do. It’s finding the time to do it consistently. A 30-minute home workout can fit into your morning routine, lunch break or that little window of time between commitments.

And for those particularly hectic days, I’ve included a few 20-minute workouts too. Because sometimes 20 minutes is exactly what you have available, and that’s still worth showing up for!

3. They Help You Build a Routine You Can Maintain. There’s no point following a training schedule that’s so demanding you can only stick to it for two weeks. I’d much rather see you complete a few quality strength sessions consistently than constantly start and stop an unrealistic routine.

The best workout plan isn’t necessarily the hardest one. It’s the one you can keep coming back to.

How Your November Workout Plan Is Structured

One of the things I love about following a workout calendar is having a little structure without feeling restricted. I’ve organised November around different training styles throughout the week, giving you a balance of strength, conditioning and recovery.

Here’s how your weekly home workout schedule looks:

  • Monday, Full Body Strength: Your bigger strength session of the week, with a little more time dedicated to lifting.
  • Tuesday, Metabolic Conditioning: A combination of strength and conditioning to challenge your muscles and cardiovascular fitness.
  • Wednesday, Upper Body or Cardio & Abs: Targeted upper body training or a cardio and core-focused session.
  • Thursday, Leg Day: Focused lower body strength for your glutes and legs.
  • Friday, Full Body: Another opportunity to challenge your major muscle groups.
  • Saturday, Sweat Session: Finish the week with an energising cardio or HIIT-style workout.
  • Sunday, Active Recovery: Enjoy a walk, some gentle movement or a well-earned rest. If it suits you, aim for 8,000–12,000 steps.

Remember, this is a guide, not a set of rules! If you need to swap your leg day, take an extra recovery day or skip a session because life gets busy, that’s absolutely fine.

You also don’t have to complete every workout on the calendar. Adjust the volume and intensity to suit your experience, recovery and energy. The goal is to build a sustainable routine, not chase a perfect month.

New Workouts Coming in November

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Garage Fitness Girl workout calendar without some brand-new workouts! Throughout November, I’ll also be adding fresh sessions across my main YouTube channel, Garage Fitness Girl Lifts, and exclusive workouts for my Inner Circle members.

Here’s a little preview of what’s coming:

  • 35 Min Low Impact No Repeat Strength: A full-body dumbbell workout combining heavy compound strength, functional training and targeted sculpting exercises.
  • 30 Min Leg Day & SIT: Lower body strength paired with short sprint interval training for an extra conditioning challenge.
  • 20 Min Busy Day Full Body Dumbbell Workout: A quick, efficient strength session for those days when time is tight.
  • 45 Min Perimenopause Muscle & Metabolic Workout: A longer session combining muscle-building strength work with metabolic conditioning.

You’ll see these listed as “Link Coming Soon” on the calendar until they go live. As each workout is released, I’ll update the links so you can jump straight in!

What Equipment Do You Need?

You don’t need a gym membership or a room full of expensive equipment to follow this month’s plan. Most workouts can be completed with just a few home workout essentials:

  • Dumbbells: A couple of different weights will give you options for heavier compound movements and lighter accessory exercises.
  • Exercise mat: For floor-based strength and core work.
  • Booty band: For selected lower body exercises.
  • Optional barbell: Used in a couple of workouts, with dumbbell alternatives available.

That’s it! Whether you train in your living room, spare bedroom or garage gym, this calendar is designed to make strength training at home simple and accessible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the November 2026 workout calendar free?

Yes! Busy & Built is a completely free workout calendar. Simply sign up here, and I’ll send your printable and fillable November workout plan straight to your inbox.

Is this workout calendar suitable for women over 40 and perimenopause?

Absolutely! The calendar includes strength training, low impact workouts, cardio and recovery, making it a flexible option for women over 40 who want to maintain muscle, improve strength and stay active through perimenopause and beyond.

The workouts vary in difficulty, so choose weights, modifications and recovery days that suit your current fitness and energy levels.

How long are the workouts?

Most workouts are between 30 and 35 minutes, making them easy to fit into a busy day. Monday sessions tend to be a little longer, while a few 20-minute workouts are included for those days when you have less time available.

Can I follow this workout calendar at home?

Yes! The workouts are designed for home training using dumbbells, a mat and, for selected sessions, a booty band. A barbell is optional for some workouts, and dumbbell alternatives are available.

Will this workout calendar help me build muscle?

Strength training is a major focus of the November calendar, with regular full-body, upper-body and lower-body sessions. These workouts can help you build or maintain muscle when you use appropriately challenging weights and allow enough recovery.

For the best long-term muscle-building results, I recommend combining these varied sessions with structured, progressive strength training where you can track your weights and repetitions over time.

What if I’m struggling with motivation or low energy?

That’s exactly why I wanted to create Busy & Built! Having your workouts planned removes one more decision from your day, while the shorter sessions can make getting started feel more manageable.

You can always reduce your weights, choose an easier workout or take a recovery day if that’s what your body needs. Remember, you’re building a routine for the long term.

What happens if I miss a workout?

Nothing! You haven’t fallen behind, and you certainly don’t need to double up the next day to catch up. Simply pick up where you left off, rearrange the schedule or move on to the next workout.

One missed day doesn’t undo your progress. Consistency is built over weeks and months, not by having a perfect calendar.

Let’s Make November a Strong One! 💪

If there’s one thing I want you to take away from this month’s calendar, it’s that you can keep making progress even when life gets busy. You don’t need the perfect schedule, endless motivation or hours of free time.

You just need a realistic plan, a little consistency and the willingness to show up for yourself in whatever way you can. So grab your dumbbells, download your calendar and let’s make November a month of getting stronger, staying active and feeling good.
