Who we are

This website, https://garagefitnessgirl.com, is run by Penny Barnshaw (Garage Fitness Girl), based in Australia. You can contact me through the Contact page on this website.

What information I collect and why

Email sign-ups: If you sign up for my free monthly workout calendar or my email list, I collect your name and email address. I use them to send you the calendar and my emails about workouts, programs and products. Your details are stored with Mailchimp, my email service. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Comments: If you leave a comment, I collect the details in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser details to help spot spam.

Contact form: If you contact me, I collect the details you enter so I can reply.

Analytics: I use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and how people find the site. It uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and the pages you view. This information is combined and does not identify you personally.

Cookies: This site and the services it uses (such as embedded videos and analytics) set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Embedded content: Pages may include videos and other content from YouTube and other sites. These sites may collect data about you and use cookies, as if you had visited them directly.

Purchases and other services: If you buy a program or digital product, the purchase happens on Buy Me a Coffee, and your payment details go to them and their payment provider, not to me. If you use the Playbook workout app, the app’s own privacy policy applies. Amazon, Pinterest and YouTube links take you to those sites, which have their own policies.

Who I share your information with

I don’t sell your information. I share it only with the services I use to run the site and email list (such as Mailchimp, Google and my website host), or where the law requires it.

How long I keep it

I keep email list details until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Comments are kept until deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you by contacting me through the Contact page.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
